Welcome to Niravai! This quickstart guide walks you through the 4 core steps to create studio-quality product photos directly within your Niravai Dashboard.

The 4-Step Photoshoot Workflow

1. Catalog Product

Navigate to Products (/product) to register your catalog items before launching a photoshoot:

  • Add Single Product: Click + Add Product and enter your product details—Name, SKU, Description, and product dimensions.
  • Upload Multi-View Photos: Upload high-resolution source images for multiple angles (Front, Side, Back, and Detail shots).
  • Bulk CSV Import: Click Import CSV to upload catalog files containing product specs, SKUs, and variant options (variant_options, variant_sku).

2. Select AI Model

Navigate to AI Models (/model) or select from the avatar picker in AI Studio:

  • Configure Custom AI Models: Click + Create Model to define detailed physical traits:
    • Basic Attributes: Age, Gender, Cultural Traits/Ethnicity, and Skin Tone hex color.
    • Facial Structure & Hair: Eye Color, Eye Shape, Nose Shape, Lip Shape, Hair Style, and Hair Color.
    • Pose & Expression: Body Type, Height, Expression, and custom style prompts.
  • Upload Model Photos: Use Upload Model to upload reference photos of real human models to build custom AI avatars.
  • Save & Reuse: Saved model avatars are stored in your organization library and can be assigned to any product line.

3. Choose Template

Navigate to Templates (/templates) or open the template panel inside AI Studio:

  • Camera Framing & Angles: Select composition styles tailored for your product category:
    • Macro: Close-up detail photography.
    • Hand at Rest / Hand to Face: Natural model interaction poses for apparel, jewelry, and wearables.
    • Overhead: Top-down flat-lay studio composition.
  • Lighting & Scene Presets: Select preset atmospheric lighting setups such as Minimalist Concrete, Sunlit Editorial, or Warm Studio Glow.
  • Custom Lighting Prompts: Adjust positive/negative prompts and aspect ratios for specific brand aesthetics.

4. Generate Studio Shots

Navigate to AI Studio (/studio) to render your final photoshoots:

  • Configure Photoshoot: Select your target product, variant, configured AI model avatar, and photography template.
  • Generate Studio Shots: Click Generate Studio Shots to launch AI generation and render high-resolution photo variations.
  • Review & Approve: Preview generated shots in the interactive gallery, then click Approve Asset to assign selected photos directly to your official product catalog.
  • Export High-Res Files: Download high-resolution PNG or JPEG image assets directly for your e-commerce storefront.
